The clients have a young and growing family and needed a rumpus room and good outdoor entertainment area away from the kids bedrooms.

Our response was to enclose the front veranda for use as rumpus/ additional guest bedroom and study but maintain the character of the existing timber Queenslander. The rear extension achieves a better connection from the indoor kitchen and open plan living areas to the new out door room which includes lined insulated ceiling with down lights and fan, built-in BBQ and wok burner – perfect for outdoor living in the warmer climates.
